My Fourth Water Horse Coat: Misty

Finished my next Water Horse coat, Misty, today! Inspired by Misty of Chincoteague, I originally wanted to make something that was as close to the real-life version as possible. There weren’t a lot of decent pictures though, so I was only able to create her left side:

It took me longer than I thought to draw her pinto markings from pictures, mostly due to the whole 2D vs. 3D thing — the way the image wraps around the mesh model means lots of trial & error. But I think it turned out well! I’ve actually been to Chincoteague Island a couple times (and gone horseback riding), so making this coat was a little more special.
