Haven’t updated this blog in almost 2 months … I think I need to start blogging about new releases again! Throughout July I moved my studio to a new parcel (because prims), and created a brand new summery body coat for both Water Horse and Teegle! Titled Freckled Peach, this coat includes specular shine and lots of light & dark spots.
Fantasy Faire 2019 is here! This is my first year being part of the Faire, so it’s been a crazy couple of weeks trying to finish everything I wanted to finish, plus decorate my shop space. I’m on the same sim that Jinx is sponsoring (Faireholm), which is a nice bonus! A handful of other horse creators also ended up there.
I’ve created 2 different items (1 in five colors), for a total of 6 vendors that have 100% of their sales going to Relay for Life! Some of my family members have been directly affected by cancer, so I wanted to have more than the minimum of 2 RFL vendors. For all bento and animesh Water Horses, I have a new Muted Mist body coat collection — inspired by Faireholm’s sun theme:
Then for Teegle, by request, I’ve converted my Literary Chalk tattoo over from Water Horse:
Visit my shop directly here! Then take a stroll around Faireholm (built by Kayle Matzerath), and take in all the Faire & creator amazingness that awaits you. I’m especially excited for the debut of Teegle’s new unicorn Teeglepet!
The Faire runs from today at 12 pm SLT until May 5th. For a complete list of all the events, sponsors, designers, and so on, visit Fantasy Faire’s official site!
The Water Horse sim underwent a huge renovation over the past few days, and it’s now open to the public again! It looks a lot better and more professional than it did, with separate buildings for the avatars, riding horses, and animesh horses (coming soon). Plus multiple riding rings and trails to explore. All creators’ shops are now in a big circle instead of streets, which should give everyone equal exposure and be easier to find. Speaking of which, my shop has a new landmark there — come visit and check out the redesign!
For the month of October, I’m participating in the Quest Fur Cover hunt at my main store! The hunt prize is a new body coat titled Tangled Branches, and this time there may or may not be decoys 🙂 I made this one at the same time as the Tangled Flames coat for the Twisted hunt, but with more pastels and less of an inferno. See the complete list of merchant prizes and hints here, and start by visiting store #0!
My hint is: “Oh keeper of magic and rainbows, where are you?”
As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’m taking part in the Out Shop Cancer event for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Across Second Life, and have created a Ribbon Pattern Gacha for it!
This gacha consists of 8 patterns/tattoos that all have a subtle awareness ribbon design on the haunches. It was a conscious decision to include colors other than pink, so the patterns will look good on a variety of body coat colors and can be worn year-round!
One thing to note about the gacha vendor: to receive a prize, a donation of $50L (or more) must be made. 100% of all proceeds from this event will go directly to the American Cancer Society. To visit other participating stores, you will need the Out Shop Cancer HUD which is available at the American Cancer Society sim.
Now available at my main store — happy shopping!
