For the month of October, I’m participating in the Quest Fur Cover hunt at my main store! The hunt prize is a new body coat titled Tangled Branches, and this time there may or may not be decoys 🙂 I made this one at the same time as the Tangled Flames coat for the Twisted hunt, but with more pastels and less of an inferno. See the complete list of merchant prizes and hints here, and start by visiting store #0!
My hint is: “Oh keeper of magic and rainbows, where are you?”
Released a new coat yesterday titled Mossy Forest! I was originally going for a wooden rocking horse look, but that morphed into a nature/forest/woodland theme instead. I know it’s not your typical horse coat, but figured someone might like it for roleplaying or Halloween 🙂
I also need to remember to take pictures in brighter lighting than normal. Everything looks great at full size in-world and in Photoshop, but when uploaded to Flickr and the marketplace it seems to lose detail and become a bit muddy.
I’m participating in the bi-annual Twisted Fall 2018 Hunt, and their theme this season is “inferno.” I’ve gone along with this and created a new body coat called Tangled Flames! In addition, for those who complete the entire hunt, there is a special room at the end with even more prizes. I’ve added my Blaze pattern there since it makes a nice addition to Tangled Flames 🙂
The hunt lasts from September 1st – 30th, so be sure to check it out. To start the hunt, visit the Twisted HQ sim!
Just released Pluto, a new body coat inspired by NASA’s New Horizons images of Pluto taken in 2015! Last week marked 12 years since it was demoted to dwarf planet, which is something I’ve always been a tiny bit bitter about (since I was raised on the solar system having nine planets haha). So this is a mini tribute to Pluto, and even includes a small heart like the heart-shaped feature on the real thing.
Finally had some time after moving my shops to finish creating a new coat — Craquelure! The name might sound weird, but I always liked it after first learning about it from a Photoshop filter. This one is actually a “happy accident” I stumbled upon while working on the Leather & Lace/Petals coats a couple weeks ago, and I’m glad I decided to save it 🙂
