This gacha — my first one — is a collection of 10 white patterns/tattoos for all the Water Horse riding horses. It’s available at the Second Chances Equine Rescue fundraiser this weekend, now through Sunday night! 100% of all proceeds will be donated directly to SCER.
I’m not the biggest fan of gachas that allow duplicates and rares, so I’ve made this one as fair as possible! All the products are equal in value, there are no rares, and it won’t give someone the same thing twice. In addition, due to how the Water Horses are scripted, all gacha item permissions are copy, no mod, and no transfer (but are available for redelivery if needed).
Finally had some time after moving my shops to finish creating a new coat — Craquelure! The name might sound weird, but I always liked it after first learning about it from a Photoshop filter. This one is actually a “happy accident” I stumbled upon while working on the Leather & Lace/Petals coats a couple weeks ago, and I’m glad I decided to save it 🙂
I wasn’t planning to do this, but when Jinx announced the opening of the ground level of her sim yesterday, I saw she had a bunch of market stores available — so I grabbed the first one! The shop size & prim limit is smaller, so it will only feature the essentials … but I’ve always been a fan of Jinx’s products, so I’m happy to share a tiny piece of her land 🙂
I promise, this will be the last of the store/moving-related posts for a while haha.
As I hinted in my last post, I’ve decided to move my mainland shop as well — to the sim I share with my partner! We weren’t using the ground level that much, so it made sense to put one of the empty areas to use. In addition to not having to deal with lag or questionable neighborhood builds, I’ll have more prims to experiment with, and will save a few Lindens each month if I can sell the mainland. I also bought a new house that required less hackery to turn into a store. It better fits within the landscape, includes lots of windows to look out over the waterfall and other scenery, and has room to grow.
I need to add the finishing touches to the store this weekend, attempt to update all of my product boxes/landmarks, and then I will gradually add more landscaping and park features. I think this time I’ll have a mix of forest and beach areas, and will incorporate all of the “attractions” from my mainland (zip lines, butterfly cave, gaming treehouse, balloon bridge, etc.).
Fingers crossed this is Lunistice’s last move!
As of last night, my Water Horse shop is now in a more central location in the WH Mall (next to The Flying Pony)! While I did enjoy my previous green shop, it felt a little lonely and detached from the rest of the sim and shop owners. The only downside is I have less prims, but I made it work — and I can always buy additional prims if needed.
I also like the design of the storefront a bit more. The doorframe is wider, there are no stairs, and the little cutout area in the back wall is a perfect place for my group gift, Midnight Madness board, etc.
While this move was relatively easy … I’m now toying with the idea of moving my main store as well (because I don’t want to update the landmarks in 70ish product boxes in 3 different areas twice). The land itself is fine, aside from the weird square I don’t own … but my neighbors have decided to build some ugly things. Namely super high apartment complexes with bright orange lines connecting them. I knew this might happen, but this is after them specifically telling me they would “landscape” to better my view.
Plus, if I move to the sim I already own with my partner, I won’t have to worry about lag, stone ground texture, or terraforming limits. And I could expand my park area to cover a bigger area. Decisions, decisions …
